What should we know about you?
I am Cuban, 100%, as Orisha’s song says I’m coming from where there is river, tobacco and sugar cane plantation. Family is my top priority. I am very friendly and open minded, I love sharing with family and friends. I love industry and its processes in general. Looking for problem solving, improvement and reliability: to me where there is a problem there is a great opportunity.
What do you like about beer?
I am a beer lover, I love all beer processing from the crop to customer satisfaction; tasting a balanced beer, with a flawless foam and attractive color is the glory! Beer is life, history and identity. Cheers!
What do you love about Trellis?
Its history. Just as its name describes: to have the strongest and deepest roots (family and friends), to grow despite of the obstacles and challenges (day to day), to do strong bonds that will keep us up (colleagues and suppliers) and to create the best products of the world (satisfied customers).

What should we know about you?
I’m big on art, music, and creating, whether that’s designing, drawing, or digging for new sounds. I love exploring how things work, where they come from, and pulling inspiration from all over.
What do you like about beer?
Beer is creative. It’s a mix of craft and science, but also culture, it brings people together in a way that’s relaxed, fun, and connected. I like how different ingredients or approaches can completely change the experience, and how a beer can tell a story about a place, a season, or a group of people who made it.
What do you love about Trellis?
I love that Trellis feels like more than a brewery, it’s a community spot filled with energy, art, music, and smiling people. For me, it’s exciting to get to blend the creative side (labels, merch, design work) with the day-to-day of working behind the bar. It keeps things fresh, connected, and helps me stay grounded in what we’re building here.

What should we know about you?
I’ve been a dancer most of my life and I’m a photographer and artist! I’m also currently creating a podcast about Iranian women focusing on their bravery, passion, and how they honor and stay connected to their ancestry. I’m really grateful for the opportunity to reconnect with my ethnicity and to learn more about Iran’s history.
What do you like about beer?
I love the community and friendships it creates! I’ve made some of my closest friendships through the beer community.
What do you love about Trellis?
The sustainability in the brewing process. I also love the unique location, space, and gardens. It’s so open and leaves so much opportunity for gatherings and collaboration in the community.

What should we know about you?
I love traveling and exploring new places, I have a big interest in real estate, and I’m a huge dog person. And fair warning—I can probably beat you in Pickleball.
What do you like about beer?
Beer is like the ultimate social glue—it brings people together, sparks good conversations, and there’s always a new flavor or style to discover. Plus, nothing beats that first sip after a longggg day.
What do you love about Trellis?
I love the vibe here—it feels like a place where friends, old and new, come to hang out and enjoy themselves. I get to share beers I’m excited about, swap stories with people at the bar, and be part of the community that makes Trellis special.

What should we know about you?
One thing that’s cool about me (I think) is that I work with kids who are blind and visually impaired and Braille.

What should we know about you?
I am a transplant from the Appalachian mountains of Virginia with 23 years in the restaurant industry and am an accomplished chef and butcher. I have worked with several incredibly talented chefs in our region. I spend most of my time with my dog Mabel- staying in with books and movies and video games but has an equal if not greater love for the outdoors and can be found fishing, hiking, camping, and of course road-tripping in the warmer months.
What do you like about beer/food?
I do not partake in our libations though I share the love of gathering with friends and colleagues in celebration.
Food for me is a language of love and no matter your background it's a common denominator that we all share. Now more than ever it is extremely important to understand the sourcing and the processes of which your food goes through to reach your table. Given my background, I am committed to sourcing and providing the best quality ingredients as possible.
What do you love about Trellis?
I love Trellis for the energy and the kindness that everyone displays. Everyone is so knowledgeable, friendly and intelligent. Good vibes all around!

What should we know about you?
Hi, I’m Rylee! I’m an artist (sometimes), a farmer (sometimes), and a beertender (fairly often).
What do you like about beer?
I love what I don’t understand about beer. What’s going on in those tanks? How’d it get so tasty? Why are barrel aged imperial stouts my favorite if I can only drink one?
What do you love about Trellis?
Trellis is awesome! From the locally sourced grain, to the gravity filtered tanks, to the cold wet foam. I’ve worked in several breweries and I’ve never seen one do what we do.

What should we know about you?
I’m a NY Mets Fan. Worked in the film industry for 10 years as a camera utility.
What do you like about beer?
I found strong relationships in the craft beer world and a sense of community driven through this common passion.
What do you love about Trellis?
The mini truck.
RACHEL - Taproom MANAGER
What should we know about you?
I fell in love with beer on my first college study abroad trip to Belgium and my love was strengthened when I moved to Bavaria after I graduated. I equally love to travel to new, exciting places and stay home and hang with my cat, Katara.
What do you like about beer?
I love that beer can be so many things in so many different situations. You can have a special release beer at a celebration gathering with friends and family, a refreshing lager or Hefeweizen at the top of a mountain after summiting, or a classic tall boy pilsner at a dive or in your backyard. Beer is the great equalizer and brings joy in many ways!
What do you love about Trellis?
The intention behind the local ingredient sourcing, brewing process, and the sense of community Trellis brings to Louisville. I’m excited to see the growth that the future holds!

What should we know about you?
Worked in hospitality and brewing since 2010 and I’ve always had a passion for making things.
What do you like about beer?
Drinking one at the end of the day, then exploring the greater possibilities of what makes them tick and how they could change. The expanse of enlightenment across the mental spark from a sip and the relaxation to not have to pursue it right this moment.
What do you love about Trellis?
It’s a place for everything to grow. Our Staff, community, neighborhood, plants, local agriculture, non profits, friendships, and things we haven’t even thought of yet!
